This family business (Commercial Illumination Ltd) was established in 1930 by the late Edward F. Drown, and has been supplying fine quality lighting fittings to discerning customers ever since.

Whatever the size and period of the property, whether a Timber Framed Cottage or a Georgian Mansion, a Victorian Rectory or a Stately Home, you should find suitable fittings.

Our Period Reproduction Interior & Exterior Ranges are hand made in brass (& copper) by craftsmen employing the same skills used by artisans in the 1800's.

We can accept payment by Debit or Credit Card or by Cheque.

Please measure and select with care as we are offering a Bespoke Service with fittings made to order so Distant Selling Regulations do not apply.
Your normal Statutory Rights are not affected in any way.
All our fittings are manufactured to the very highest standards from quality materials, and are fully guaranteed. Special Finishes are done by hand and may vary slightly. We advise that all fittings should be fitted by a Qualified Electrician. Please note that we are unable to Insure against glass breakage with Carriers and therefore it is sent at customers own risk.
